NEW VIRTUAL HARDWARE ON CYCLADES VMS (REBOOT REQUIRED)
The transition to upgraded virtual hardware has been completed, according to plan. Any machines with old virtual hardware must be rebooted to exploit the new features.
You're free to reboot your machines at your convenience, until Mon Sep 24, 11:00. If you haven't rebooted your machines until then, they will be automatically rebooted.
This is your last chance to complete the necessary Windows driver update as described in this post before the reboot. Any un-updated Windows machine WILL CEASE TO FUNCTION after the reboot.

DRIVER UPDATE NEEDED FOR WINDOWS VMS
We are upgrading the ~okeanos software infrastructure constantly, to deliver improved user experience and an exciting array of new features.
Part of the upgrade process involves the hypervisor, KVM, which means the VMs will run on upgraded virtual hardware. For Windows, this needs an update of the storage and network drivers.

CYCLADES MAINTENANCE ON 25/07/2012
Tomorrow morning, Wed 25 Jul 2012, Cyclades will be unavailable between 9:00 - 12:00 for scheduled maintenance.
User access to the Cyclades UI and the Cyclades API will be disrupted.
However, all Virtual Machines and Networks will remain intact, meaning that users will continue to have direct access to all their resources as usual, even during the maintenance window.
Pithos+ will also remain up.
We are sorry for the inconvenience,

DISK SIZE INCREASED TO 40GB !
Hello ~okeanos alpha users,
We are happy to announce that we are increasing the maximum disk size to 40GB for everyone, starting today!
From now on, you will find a new disk size option of "40GB" on the second step of the "New Machine" wizard. This option will be available for all your new Virtual Machines. This means more space to host more applications, and more content.
Enjoy and use wisely :)
